Day 1 of this journey chronicled more on the reconstruction phase of this website using the Version 4.0 of Atomic Blogging theme of Alvin Phang.
This version of Atomic Blogging is a big leap with great enhancement as compared to the previous versions. The last version that we had used is the version 2.0. Hence, we find it a little bit tedious to study the enhancements for application to this website’s structure, particularly the plug-ins, widgets, and website’s structure color improvements.
Anyways, the enhancements can be applied later gradually. So we do what is required first to maximize the optimization of this website.
First things off, we uploaded the socialmatic plug-in and registered to the following social networks as required :
- socialmatic
- faves
- blinklist
- delicious
- yahoo
- blogmarks
- markaboo
- google
- linkroll
- propeller
- searchles
- sphinn
Socialmatic by the way is “A Powerful Plugin Which Uses An Online Free Social Bookmarking Service To Submit Your URL to popular Social Bookmarking Sites” as mentioned above.
Let’s take it from here and see if it works.
